MEN'S & WOMEN'S HEALTH OVERVIEW
Private, Respectful Care for Intimate Health Concerns
Sexual health and intimate wellness are important parts of overall well-being, yet many people feel uncomfortable talking about them. At Jax Medi Spa, we want you to feel at ease asking questions. Your consultation is private, professional and judgment-free.
Our men's and women's health services are designed for adults who want to understand their options. Your provider will review your health history, listen to your concerns and explain which treatments, if any, may be appropriate. Some concerns have medical causes, so an evaluation is an important first step.
Several treatments on this page are considered off-label or investigational for these uses, and research is still developing. Your provider will explain what is known, what is not and what the risks are before you decide.
OUR SERVICES
Men's & Women's Health Services
P-Shot (Men)
A PRP-Based Option for Men's Sexual Wellness
The P-Shot uses platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, prepared from a small sample of your own blood. After the plasma is separated, it is injected into targeted areas as part of a treatment plan.
Men may ask about the P-Shot when they have concerns about sexual function. Research on PRP for these concerns is still developing, and results vary from person to person. It has not been approved by the FDA for this use, and your provider will review the potential benefits and risks with you.

O-Shot (Women)
A PRP-Based Option for Women's Intimate Wellness
The O-Shot also uses PRP from your own blood. It is designed for women who have concerns related to sexual function and intimate comfort.
As with the P-Shot, research is ongoing and individual results vary. Your provider will explain how the procedure works, who may be a candidate, what the risks are and what the FDA has and has not approved.

Shockwave Therapy
A Non-Invasive Option Being Studied for Erectile Concerns
Low-intensity shockwave therapy uses gentle acoustic waves delivered with a handheld device. It is being studied as an option for some men with erectile concerns, particularly those related to blood flow.
Treatment is usually given in a series of sessions, and the plan your provider recommends depends on your situation. The evidence is still evolving, and regulatory status varies by device and use, so ask your provider what applies to you.

ED Management
Start With the Cause, Not Just the Symptom
Erectile dysfunction is common, and it can have many causes. These can include circulation, hormone levels, diabetes, medication side effects, stress and sleep. Because ED can sometimes point to other health conditions, a proper evaluation matters.
Your plan may include lifestyle guidance, lab testing, a hormone evaluation, prescription options when appropriate and other therapies. If your provider feels you should also see your primary care provider, we will tell you.

Penile Enhancement
An Honest, Private Conversation
Some men ask about options to change the appearance or size of the penis. This is a very personal topic, and we handle it with discretion.
In a private consultation, your provider will talk about your goals and explain which options exist, whether you may be a candidate, what the evidence shows and what risks are involved. Not every request is appropriate, and we will be honest about what a treatment can and cannot do.
